أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْمُقْرِئُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْبِرْتِيُّ وَأنا أَسْمَعُ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّادٍ يَعْنِي ثَعْلَبَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ف��ي خُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ قَالَ فَاسْتَقْدَمَ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ فَقَامَ كَأَطْوَلِ مَا قَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَا نَسْمَعُ لَهُ صَوْتًا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ بِنَا كَأَطْوَلِ مَا رَكَعَ بِنَا فِي صَلَاةٍ لَا نَسْمَعُ لَهُ صَوْتًا ثُمَّ فَعَلَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
English Translation
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad the reciter narrated to us in Baghdad... from Samurah ibn Jundub, who mentioned in his sermon the hadith about the Prophet's prayer during the solar eclipse. He said: He stepped forward and prayed with the people while we were with him. He stood for the longest he had ever stood in his prayer place, and we could not hear his voice. Then he bowed with us for the longest he had ever bowed with us in prayer, and we could not hear his voice. Then he did the same in the second unit.
