أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا حَمَّادٌ فِي حَدِيثِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِيهِ قَالَ وَفِطْرُكُمْ يَوْمَ تُفْطِرُونَ وَأَضْحَاكُمْ يَوْمَ تُضَحُّونَ وَكُلُّ عَرَفَةَ مَوْقِفٌ وَكُلُّ مِنًى مَنْحَرٌ وَكُلُّ فِجَاجِ مَكَّةَ مَنْحَرٌ وَكُلُّ جَمْعٍ مَوْقِفٌ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Ata', from Jabir who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Do not sacrifice except a musinnah, unless that is difficult for you, in which case sacrifice a jadha'ah sheep. He said: The Messenger of Allah said: Do not slaughter before the prayer.
