أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِمِنًى يَخْطُبُ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدٌ أَحْمَرُ وَعَلِيٌّ ؓ أَمَامَهُ يُعَبِّرُ عَنْهُ
English Translation
Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari informed us... from Abu Dawud... from Musaddad... from Abu Mu'awiyah, from Hilal ibn 'Amir, from his father who said: 'I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Mina delivering a sermon on a mule, wearing a red cloak, and 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was in front of him, repeating (announcing) what the Prophet said.'
