Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) who said about the pulpit (minbar) of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that it was made from tamarisk wood of al-Ghabah, and that a certain woman had it built for the Prophet (peace be upon him).
