وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ أنبأ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا زَائِدَةُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ أنبأ أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ مَنْ سَمِعَ الْأَذَانَ فَارِغًا صَحِيحًا ثُمَّ لَمْ يُجِبْ فَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ كَذَا قَالَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ وَلَا أَرَاهُ إِلَّا وَهْمًا
English Translation
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari said: 'Whoever hears the adhan while free and healthy and then does not respond, there is no prayer for him.' The narrator said this was reported from Abu Bakr ibn Abi Burdah, but I believe this to be an error.
