أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ ؓ كَانَا يُصَلِّيَانِ خَلْفَ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ فَقَالَ مَا كَانَا يُصَلِّيَانِ إِذَا رَجَعَا إِلَى مَنَازِلِهِمَا؟ فَقَالَ لَا وَاللهِ مَا كَانَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْأَئِمَّةِ
English Translation
Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated from his father that al-Hasan and al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) used to pray behind Marwan. It was asked: 'Did they repeat the prayer when they returned home?' He said: 'No, by Allah, they did not add anything to the prayer of the imams.'
