أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أنبأ هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَمْسِ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ
English Translation
Jabir narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever fears that he will not wake up at the end of the night, let him pray witr at the beginning. Whoever is confident he will wake up, let him pray at the end of the night, for the prayer at the end of the night is witnessed and that is better."
