مَنْ فَاتَهُ حِزْبُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَرَأَ بِهِ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَكَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَفُتْهُ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَهُ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْعَدْلُ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا ابْنُ قَعْنَبٍ وَابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ مَوْقُوفًا البيهقي ٤٥٦٥: عن
English Translation
Regarding whoever misses his nightly portion of Quran: "If he recites it when the sun passes its zenith until the Zuhr prayer, it will be as if he had not missed it." This was narrated from Malik in a mawquf (stopped) chain.
