أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ضَمْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَأَلْنَا عَلِيًّا ؓ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ
English Translation
Aishah asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the Hijr and whether it was part of the Ka'bah. He said: "Yes." She said: "Then why did the Quraysh not include it in the Ka'bah?" He said: "Your people ran short of funds."
