English Translation
Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Qadi informed us... from Abu Musa, meaning Malik ibn al-Harith, who said: 'I was with Ali. He said: Search for him — meaning the Mukhdaj [the mutilated one among the Kharijites]. They did not find him, and sweat was pouring from his forehead as he said: By Allah, I have not lied nor been lied to. Then they pulled him out from under the dead bodies, and he prostrated [in gratitude].'
