وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْقَطَّانِ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِرَاكَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ يَقُولُ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِخَيْبَرَ وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارَ يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ تَبِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ بِخَيْبَرَ
English Translation
Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Qattan informed us... from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: 'I arrived in Madinah while the Prophet (peace be upon him) was at Khaybar, and a man from Banu Ghifar was leading the people in prayer.' The Shaykh, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Then he followed the Prophet (peace be upon him) and arrived to him while he was at Khaybar.
