أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ هُوَ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِيُّ وَبِلَالُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ فَأَغْلَقَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَمَكَثَ فِيهَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَسَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا حِينَ خَرَجَ مَاذَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ جَعَلَ عَمُودًا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَعَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ وَرَاءَهُ وَكَانَ الْبَيْتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَعْمِدَةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ فِي إِحْدَى الرِّوَايَتَيْنِ عَنْهُ 3782 وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَقَالَ تَرَكَ عَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَمُودًا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَذْرُعٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أنبأ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ
English Translation
Ibn Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered the Ka'bah - he, Usamah ibn Zayd, Uthman ibn Talhah al-Hajabi, and Bilal ibn Rabah. He closed it upon them and stayed inside. Abdullah ibn Umar said: I asked Bilal when he came out: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) do? He said: He placed a pillar to his left and two pillars to his right and three pillars behind him - the House at that time had six pillars - then he prayed. And Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated it from Malik and said: He left two pillars to his right and a pillar to his left and three pillars behind him, then he prayed. Between him and the qiblah wall were three cubits.
