وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنبأ حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنِّي أَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ ص فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُ عَلَى السَّجْدَةِ سَجَدَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ رَأَيْتُ الدَّوَاةُ وَالْقَلَمُ وَاللَّوْحُ فَغَدَوْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَأَمَرَ بِالسُّجُودِ فِيهَا
English Translation
Abu Sa'id said: I saw in a dream that I was reciting Surah Sad, and when I came to the prostration verse, everything I saw prostrated - the inkwell, the pen, and the writing board. So I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the morning and told him, and he commanded the prostration in it.
