English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Ahmad ibn Ja'far informed us, Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to me, Waki' narrated to us and mentioned it with its chain. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came in upon us while we were raising our hands in prayer and said: 'Why do I see you raising your hands as though they are the tails of wild horses? Be still in prayer.'
