أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ مُحَاضِرُ بْنُ الْمُوَرِّعِ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ (ح) قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ وَكِيعٍ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab informed us, Muhadir ibn al-Muwarri' narrated to us, Hisham ibn Urwah narrated to us. And Abu al-Walid informed us, al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us from Hisham ibn Urwah from his father from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray some of his night prayer while I was lying across between him and the qiblah. When he wanted to perform the witr, he would wake me up and I would perform the witr. This is the wording of Waki's hadith.
