أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ أنبأ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ مَا تَقُولُونَ فِيمَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ لَدَابَّةُ سُوءٍ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي مُعْتَرِضَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَاعْتِرَاضِ الْجِنَازَةِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Mahbubi informed us, Sa'id ibn Mas'ud narrated to us, al-Nadr ibn Shumayl informed us, Shu'bah informed us from Abu Bakr ibn Hafs. He said: I heard Urwah ibn al-Zubayr narrating from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She said: What do you say about what interrupts the prayer? He said: The woman, the donkey, and the dog. She said: Indeed, the woman is an evil beast! I have seen myself lying across in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) like a corpse on a funeral bier while he was praying.
