أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا يَحْيَى أنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجَ كَانَ يَنْصِبُهَا {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ} [المائدة 6] قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ غَيْلَانَ {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ} [المائدة 6] نَصْبًا
English Translation
Anas narrated: 'The companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would wait for the 'Isha prayer until their heads would nod (from drowsiness). Then they would pray without performing ablution.' This refers to light dozing while sitting.
