أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَهُوَ يَسْكُنُ الرَّمْلَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْفَخِذُ عَوْرَةٌ وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي التَّرْجَمَةِ حَدِيثَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَجَرْهَدٍ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ بِلَا إِسْنَادٍ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَهَذِهِ أَسَانِيدُ صَحِيحَةٌ يُحْتَجُّ بِهَا
English Translation
Awf ibn Malik narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed a funeral prayer, and I memorized from his supplication: 'O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, grant him well-being, honor his reception, make his entrance wide, wash him with water, snow, and hail, cleanse him of sins as a white garment is cleansed of filth, give him a home better than his home, a family better than his family, a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.'" Awf said: "I wished I had been the deceased."
