أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ أُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا فَنَظَرْنَا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ يَأْمُرُنَا بِذَلِكَ
English Translation
'Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered wiping over the leather socks during the expedition of Tabuk — three days for the traveler, one day and night for the resident.'
