English Translation
Regarding who is most entitled to lead the prayer: Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The one who leads the people in prayer should be the one who knows the Book of Allah best. If they are equal in recitation, then the one most knowledgeable of the Sunnah. If they are equal in the Sunnah, then the earliest to migrate. If they are equal in migration, then the eldest. No man should lead another in his domain, and no one should sit in his place of honor without his permission."
