English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A tailor invited the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to a meal he had prepared. Anas said: I went with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to that meal. He presented barley bread and broth with gourd and dried meat. I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) picking out the gourd from around the bowl, and I have loved gourd ever since that day.
