English Translation
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us: Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar reported to us: Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, who said: Whoever is compelled [by necessity] to [eat] carrion, blood, and the flesh of swine, yet does not eat or drink until he dies, enters the Fire. And from Ma'mar, from Qatadah, who said: He eats of carrion what will get him by, but does not gorge himself on it. Ma'mar said: I have not heard of any concession (rukhsah) regarding wine.
