أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ مِمَّا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا حِينَ يُصْبِحُ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّيْبَلِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الصَّائِغُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَذَكَرَهُ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ
English Translation
That the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever eats seven dates from between its two lava tracts [i.e., of Madinah] in the morning, nothing will harm him until the evening." Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq informed us, Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Daybali informed us in Makkah, Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Zayd al-Sa'igh narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Maslamah al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to us from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman - and he mentioned it. Muslim narrated it from al-Qa'nabi.
