أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو حَامِدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ شُجَاعٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ فِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ وَأَنَا أَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكِيِّ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu al-Husayn Ali ibn Umar al-Hafiz narrated to me, Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Harun al-Hadrami narrated to us, Abu Yahya Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, Surayj ibn Yunus narrated to us from Marwan ibn Shuja', from Salim al-Aftas, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Healing is in three things: the incision of a cupping instrument, or drinking honey, or cauterization with fire. And I forbid my community from cauterization."
