أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ؓ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَدُنَا يَنْحَرُ النَّاقَةَ وَيَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ وَالشَّاةَ وَفِي بَطْنِهَا الْجَنِينُ أَيُلْقِيهِ أَمْ يَأْكُلُهُ؟ فَقَالَ كُلُوهُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَإِنَّ ذَكَاتَهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ
English Translation
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Muqri' informed us, al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, Yusuf ibn Ya'qub the judge narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us from Mujalid, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, one of us slaughters a she-camel, or a cow, or a sheep, and in its belly is a fetus - should he throw it away or eat it?' He said: 'Eat it if you wish, for its slaughter is the slaughter of its mother.'"
