أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ تُؤْكَلَ لُحُومُ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ قَالَ سَالِمٌ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَا يَأْكُلُ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Ahmad ibn Ja'far informed us, Abdullah ibn Ahmad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us from al-Zuhri from Salim from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days. Salim said: Ibn Umar would not eat the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days.
