English Translation
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Affan narrated to us, Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us from Ash'ath ibn Abd al-Malik from al-Hasan who said: Picking dates at night, harvesting at night, and sacrificing at night were prohibited. That was only due to the hardship of the people's circumstances. A man would do these things at night, so it was prohibited. Then the concession was granted for that.
