وَأَمَّا الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَذْكُرُونِي عِنْدَ ثَلَاثٍ تَسْمِيَةِ الطَّعَامِ وَعِنْدَ الذَّبْحِ وَعِنْدَ الْعُطَاسِ فَهَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ وَأَبُوهُ ضَعِيفَانُ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى السِّجْزِيُّ فِي عِدَادِ مَنْ يَضَعُ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَوْ عَرَفَ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى حَالَهُ لَمَا اسْتَجَازَ الرِّوَايَةَ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ فِيمَا ذَكَرَهُ شَيْخُنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَنَسَبَهُ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أَيْضًا إِلَى وَضْعِ الْحَدِيثِ فِيمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ عَنْهُ 19181 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ حَمَّادٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ السَّعْدِيُّ وَهُوَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَوْزَجَانِيُّ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى الَّذِي يَرْوِي آدَابَ سُفْيَانَ كَذَّابٌ مُصَرِّحٌ
English Translation
As for the hadith that Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Ishaq ibn Ayyub the jurist informed us, Isma'il ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yahya informed us, Sulayman ibn Isa informed me, Abd al-Rahim ibn Zayd al-Ammi narrated to us from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not mention me at three occasions: when naming food (i.e., saying bismillah), when slaughtering, and when sneezing." This is munqati' (disconnected). Abd al-Rahim and his father are both weak, and Sulayman ibn Isa al-Sijzi is counted among those who fabricate hadith. Had Yahya ibn Yahya known his condition, he would not have permitted narrating from him. This is as our Shaykh Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned, and Abu Ahmad ibn Adiyy al-Hafiz also attributed him to fabricating hadith, as Abu Sa'd al-Malini informed us from him. And Abu Sa'd al-Malini informed us, Abu Ahmad ibn Adiyy informed us, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn Hammad say: Al-Sa'di - he is Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani - said: "Sulayman ibn Isa who narrates the Adab of Sufyan is an outright liar."
