وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلُوا ذَبَائِحَ نَصَارَى بَنِي تَغْلِبَ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَتَمَسَّكُوا مِنْ دِينِهِمْ إِلَّا بِشُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ
English Translation
And Abu Zakariyya and Abu Bakr informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas informed us, al-Rabi' informed us, al-Shafi'i informed us, al-Thaqafi informed us from Ayyub from Ibn Sirin from Abidah al-Salmani from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "Do not eat the slaughtered animals of the Christians of Banu Taghlib, for they have not held onto anything from their religion except drinking wine."
