وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ فُرَافِصَةَ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الذَّكَاةُ فِي الْحَلْقِ وَاللَّبَّةِ وَلَا تَعْجَلُوا الْأَنْفُسَ أَنْ تَزْهَقَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا مِنْ وَجْهٍ ضَعِيفٍ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ أَنْ تَزْهَقَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا مِنْ وَجْهٍ ضَعِيفٍ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ
English Translation
And with its chain of narration, Sufyan narrated to us from Ayyub from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir from Furafisah al-Hanafi from Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "Proper slaughter is in the throat and the upper chest. Do not hasten the souls before they depart." This has also been narrated through a weak route as a marfu' report (attributed to the Prophet), but it is not authentic.
