أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلِ بْنِ خَلَفِ بْنِ شَجَرَةَ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ بِمَرْوَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي الرَّقَاشِيَّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْعَشْرُ فَأَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُضَحِّيَ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَنْ شَعْرِهِ وَأَظْفَارِهِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Kamil ibn Khalaf ibn Shajarah the judge in Baghdad and Abu Ahmad Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Hamdan in Marw informed us, they said: Abu Qilabah al-Raqashi narrated to us. And Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq informed us, Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Ishaq al-Khurasani narrated to us, Abd al-Malik ibn Muhammad - meaning al-Raqashi - narrated to us, Yahya ibn Kathir narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Malik ibn Anas, from Amr ibn Muslim, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah) enter and one of you intends to sacrifice, let him refrain from his hair and nails."
