أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ آلِ الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ عَجُوزٍ لَهُمْ قَالَتْ أَخْبَرَنَا وَفْدُنَا وَفْدُ غَامِدٍ حَيْثُ قَدِمُوا مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى كُلِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ضَحِيَّةٌ وَعَتِيرَةٌ
English Translation
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Muqri informed us, al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, Yusuf ibn Ya'qub al-Qadi narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us from Hisham from Hafsah from a woman of the family of al-Ash'ath from an elderly woman of theirs. She said: Our delegation - the delegation of Ghamid - when they came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us that he said: "Upon every Muslim household is a sacrificial animal and an Atirah."
