Abu Nasr informed us, Abu Mansur al-Nadrawi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Najdah narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani, from Zayd ibn Yuthay', who said: We asked 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): With what were you sent? He said: With four things — and he mentioned them — except that he said: "No Muslim and polytheist shall gather together in Hajj after this year of theirs." And he added: "And whoever had no covenant, then four months (of grace)."
