أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {حَتَّى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا} [محمد 4] يَعْنِي حَتَّى يَنْزِلَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ فَيُسْلِمَ كُلُّ يَهُودِيٍّ وَكُلُّ نَصْرَانِيٍّ وَكُلُّ صَاحِبِ مِلَّةٍ وَتَأْمَنَ الشَّاةُ الذِّئْبَ وَلَا تَقْرِضَ فَأْرَةٌ جِرَابًا وَتَذْهَبَ الْعَدَاوَةُ مِنَ الْأَشْيَاءِ كُلِّهَا وَذَلِكَ ظُهُورُ الْإِسْلَامِ عَلَى الدِّينِ ك��لِّهِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us > Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hasan al-Qadi > Ibrahim ibn al-Husayn > Adam ibn Abi Iyas > Warqa' > Ibn Abi Najih > Mujahid, regarding the statement of Allah Most High: {until war lays down its burdens} [47:4], meaning: until Isa ibn Maryam descends, and every Jew, every Christian, and every follower of a religion embraces Islam, and the sheep feels safe from the wolf, and the mouse does not gnaw a bag, and enmity disappears from all things. And that is the prevalence of Islam over all religion.
