أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثنا ضَمْرَةُ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَكِينَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُحَرَّرِينَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ دَعُوا الْحَبَشَةَ مَا وَدَعُوكُمْ وَاتْرُكُوا التُّرْكَ مَا تَرَكُوكُمْ
English Translation
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us > Muhammad ibn Bakr > Abu Dawud > Isa ibn Muhammad al-Ramli > Damrah > al-Shaybani > Abu Sakinah, a man from the freed slaves > a man from the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: He said: "Leave the Abyssinians alone as long as they leave you alone, and leave the Turks alone as long as they leave you alone."
