أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَكْرَهُونَ رَفْعَ الصَّوْتِ عِنْدَ ثَلَاثٍ عِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ وَفِي الْجَنَائِزِ وَفِي الذِّكْرِ
English Translation
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, from Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub, from al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Affan, from Abu Usamah, from Hisham ibn Abi Abdullah al-Dustuwa'i, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Qays ibn Abbad who said: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to dislike raising the voice on three occasions: during fighting, during funerals, and during the remembrance of Allah.
