أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ قَالَ كَتَبَ نَجْدَةُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ يَحْضُرَانِ الْمَغْنَمَ هَلْ لَهُمَا مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ شَيْءٌ؟ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُمَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يُحْذَيَا
English Translation
Allah said: "When you meet those who disbelieve in battle, strike their necks until, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly. Then either grace or ransom until the war lays down its burdens" (47:4).
