أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ الْغُرَّةَ تُقَوَّمُ خَمْسِينَ دِينَارًا أَوْ سِتَّمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ وَدِيَةُ الْمَرْأَةِ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ أَوْ سِتَّةُ آلَافِ دِرْهَمٍ وَدِيَةُ جَنِينِهَا عُشْرُ دِيَتِهَا قَالَ مَالِكٌ فَنَرَى أَنَّ جَنِينَ الْأَمَةِ عُشْرُ قِيمَةِ أُمِّهِ وَرُوِي عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ بِإِسْنَادٍ مُنْقَطِعٍ أَنَّهُ قَوَّمَ الْغُرَّةَ خَمْسِينَ دِينَارًا
English Translation
Narrations about the Prophet's military expeditions and the lessons derived from them. The Prophet organized his armies with care, appointed competent commanders, and gave them detailed instructions. He emphasized that fighting is only for the cause of Allah and the protection of the Muslim community.
