وَرَوَى فِي الْكَفَّارَةِ مَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قَالَ جَاءَ قَيْسُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي وَأَدْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ثَمَانَ بَنَاتٍ فَقَالَ أَعْتِقْ عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ نَسَمَةً وَلِهَذَا شَاهِدٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ
English Translation
Narrations about the Prophet's military expeditions and the lessons derived from them. The Prophet organized his armies with care, appointed competent commanders, and gave them detailed instructions. He emphasized that fighting is only for the cause of Allah and the protection of the Muslim community.
