أَخْبَرَنَا الْإِمَامُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ أنبأ زَاهِرٌ أنبأ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ أنبأ عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ثنا عُمَرُ هُوَ ابْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ فِي الْخَرَمَاتِ الثَّلَاثِ فِي الْأَنْفِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُلُثُ الدِّيَةِ 16245 وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ ثنا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ مِثْلَهُ
English Translation
Discussion of the appointment of judges and their qualifications. The Prophet (peace be upon him) appointed judges for various regions and gave them detailed instructions on how to judge fairly, including the famous instructions to Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he was sent to Yemen.
