أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْحَنَّاطُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَشْرَسَ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيَمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الزَّيَّاتُ الْعَبْدِيُّ عَنْ بَحْرٍ السِّقَاءِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا كُنَّا نَعُدُّ الْكُدْرَةَ وَالصُّفْرَةَ شَيْئًا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَرُوِي مَعْنَاهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِإِسْنَادٍ أَمْثَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
English Translation
Amir ibn Rabi'ah narrated: "We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on a journey on a very dark night, and we could not determine the qiblah. Each of us prayed in his own direction. In the morning, we mentioned it to the Prophet, and the verse was revealed: 'Wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah.'"
