وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ نا الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ وَإِذَا شَرِبَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ لِمَعْمَرٍ فَإِنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَعْمَرٌ فَإِنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ كَانَ يَذْكُرُ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ النَّفْرِ فَلَعَلَّهُ عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ هَذَا مُحْتَمَلٌ فَقَدْ
English Translation
Abu al-Husain bin Bishr informed us... from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When any of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand. Abd al-Razzaq said: Sufyan bin Uyaynah said to Ma'mar: Al-Zuhri narrated it to me from Abu Bakr bin Ubaidullah from Ibn Umar.
