أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُجِبْ فَإِنْ شَاءَ طَعِمَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a virgin girl came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and mentioned that her father had married her off against her will. The Prophet (peace be upon him) gave her the choice.
