أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said regarding a man who accepts Islam while his wife is still a polytheist: "If she accepts Islam before the end of her waiting period, she is still his wife."
