أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السُّكَّرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَغْزُوَ فَاشْتَرِ فَرَسًا أَدْهَمَ أَغَرَّ مُحَجَّلًا مُطْلَقَ الْيُمْنَى؛ فَإِنَّكَ تَغْنَمُ وَتَسْلَمُ كَذَا قَالَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ
English Translation
Uqbah ibn Amir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'If you intend to go on a military expedition, buy a jet-black horse with a white mark on its forehead, white-stockinged, with the right foreleg free of white, for you will gain spoils and be safe.'
