أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْر��انَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ح وَأنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ الْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ وَالرَّجُلُ فِي أَهْلِهِ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ وَالْمَرْأَةُ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا رَاعِيَةٌ وَهِيَ مَسْؤُولَةٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهَا وَالْخَادِمُ فِي مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَحْسَبُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَالرَّجُلُ فِي مَالِ ابْنِهِ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ وَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: 'Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The leader is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The man in his family is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The woman in her husband's house is a shepherdess and is responsible for her flock. The servant in his master's wealth is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.' He said: 'I heard these from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and I think that the Messenger of Allah also said: And the man in his son's wealth is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. Each of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.'
