وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أنا خَالِدٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَتِ الْجَدَّةُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْأُمِّ أَقْعَدَ فَهِيَ أَحَقُّ بِالسُّدُسِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Ishaq al-Faqih informed us: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Nadr narrated to us: Mu'awiyah ibn Amr narrated to us: Za'idah narrated from al-A'mash from Abu Salih from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: By the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is no believer on earth whom I am not the closest person to. Whoever among you leaves behind debt or dependents, they come to me. And whoever leaves behind wealth, it goes to his heirs, whoever they may be.
