أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ جَاءَتِ الْأَخْبَارُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَجَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ أَنَّهُمْ وَرَّثُوا ثَلَاثَ جَدَّاتٍ مَعَ الْحَدِيثِ الْمُنْقَطِعِ الَّذِي يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ وَرَّثَ ثَلَاثَ جَدَّاتٍ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ عَنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خِلَافَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا مَا رُوِّينَا عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ مِمَّا لَا يُثْبِتُ أَهْلُ الْمَعْرِفَةِ بِالْحَدِيثِ إِسْنَادَهُ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Shaybani narrated to us: Muhammad ibn al-Musayyib narrated to us: Mansur ibn Abi Muzahim narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated from al-Zuhri from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: The child belongs to the bed.
