Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us: Abu Abdullah ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us: Sufyan said: Amr said: I heard al-Hasan ibn Muhammad narrating: I asked Ibn Abbas about the kalalah. He said: It is one who has no child and no parent. I said to him: Allah says: 'If a man dies having no child and he has a sister' [4:176]. He became angry and rebuked me, and said: It is one who has no child and no parent.
