حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ سُئِلَ قَتَادَةُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ ثُمَّ طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ عَفَّانُ ثُمَّ طَلَعَ قَرْنُ الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خِلَاسٌ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُتِمُّ صَلَاتَهُ.
English Translation
Bahz told us, and 'Affan told us, they said: Hammam told us: Qatadah was asked about a man who prayed one rak'ah of the dawn prayer and then the sun rose — 'Affan said: then the edge of the sun rose — he said: Khilas told me, from Abu Rafi', that Abu Hurayrah told him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He completes his prayer."
